    Shill Bidding

Yep I hate I too. Also hate being accused of doing something I didn't do. 2 mins of investigation shows the 'shill' has bid 600 odd times in 30 days....7 times on mine. Me reporting him was tongue in cheek.

    Shill Bidding

Apparently a particular user always bids on my coins. I usually put up a couple of 1 day 99c auctions at a time. As they start at 99c people come along and bid on both of the auctions. Get quite a few repeat bidders...sometimes they win, sometimes they don't. Not too worried, just really annoyed...

    Shill Bidding

Hey there, Just wondering if anyone on here has been accused of shill bidding on ebay before. Happened to me today and apparenlty I've been reported (Hi to the lovely user if they are on here). Pretty outraged to be honest. Just curious if anybody has had to go through any kind of process in...

    Cleaning silver

I tried the Cloudy Ammonia option mentioned somewhere on the forum on some grubby 1966s. Swirled around in a tub for a few minutes. then used a bit of bi carb to finish them off....worked a treat.

Cashing in bullion coins at face value ?

Years ago when I was a bank teller I was always exchanging gold $200 coins for face value. If only I was into precious metals way back then.

Sorry, but just have to tell someone.

No one close by cares about silver so I just had to log in and share... I walked into a Australia Post today and a 4 coin Dragon Typeset was just staring at me in the display. Still at issue price. Must've only just put it up as I'm in there a fair bit and hadn't seen it before. Have to say I'm...

    1/4 oz vs 1/10 oz

Cheers fishball. Fairly comfortably with paying the premiums cos as like you say, you get that back when selling. Good to know both are fairly easy to offload if needed.

    1/4 oz vs 1/10 oz

Hi all, Looking to buy a little bit of gold next week and i'm torn. Having trouble deciding whether to buy a few 1/10 or a 1/4. Obviously the 1/4 will attract a smaller premium, so more bang for my buck...however not sure how liquid 1/4s are compared to 1/10s. Any feedback would be greatly...

    COA Issue number importance???

Sorry if it's been covered. I've just started dipping my toe into the numi world. Picked up a couple of the Wildlife Pandas. COA numbers are 2221 and 2222. Do solid numbers affect values all that much, bank note collectors seem to get a bit excited about solid serial numbers. Cheers.
