I've mentioned this before but didnt really get a proper answer. Aren't silver prices supposed to skyrocket when the paper holders try to cash in, but under what circumstance will they cash in unless the government fails or some major event occurs. Wont they just sell it off or hold onto it and...

Your example of "Selling Silver Eagles $1 over spot" means it is over spot. So at current spot of 22.77 you are nearly 5% over spot on your sample ad. The site name implies you are selling at spot, you are not, so not worth visiting.

So basically it's the stamp? So as soon as you buy based on anything other than the value of the metal content it is numismatic. Is it because they are rare?

Why are there such high premiums on bars being sold in the for sale thread. They are not numismatic but I sometimes 20% - 25% premium on a bar being sold in the sale section. i cant fathom why a bar would fetch such high premium when really it should have no numismatic value whatsoever.

No as the spot price stays the same or drops but premiums are going up instead of the premiums reducing to stay within a % of spot

Another thing with EFTs/Paper. They can continue to trade that without ever taking physical collection of their 'PM' however physical will really only increase once people realise that their paper pm isnt real or they dont have the physical to back the paper. So why would they ever need to cash...
