    Bank Holiday this Easter

If we do, I have some of Sammy’s personally colour-coded round fifties (yes, Sammy colour coded them). They will be for sale and I might do a quiz for a prize, after consulting with Sammy as the resident comedian to MC the quiz. If the price is $36, Sammy can have the last laugh

We’re about to get it good and hard. This weekend is a good time to make your preps if you have not. It’s all going to change rapidly and a good place to be is well prepped.

    2020 Collapse

The nicest ones I’ve had in Queensland are from around Rockhampton, Yeppoon. Small and sweet. The key issue is to smell the bottom of the pineapple. If it smells strongly of pineapple you win, as far as flavour goes. As far as everything else, who knows.

    2020 Collapse

In the plentiful section: Canned pineapple probably has a good amount of vitamin C - best to check. The natural raw pineapple is very high, amongst the highest of all common fruits if not the highest. Nuts are one of the best long life low weight energy dense natural foods possible. Regular...

Has anyone on SS backed up the truck?

If you are in an area with a cold winter and you have the option of wood, the best time to get the wood is towards the end of summer, because it is dry and wet wood is inefficient and therefore wasteful. However, the next best time is right now, because unless you have acreage and have already...

Has anyone on SS backed up the truck?

I’ve read vitamin C in spuds is killed by cooking You’d want to try one or two raw in the blender My guess is people don’t eat raw spuds due to the effect. It’s probably a great laxative.

Has anyone on SS backed up the truck?

For Australia, expect some serious shutdowns the likes of which are happening overseas. Get the things you may need to ride it out as best you can, if you have not already done so. There is still a bit of time left before it goes boonta, but it isn’t much. I think some states will fully...

Has anyone on SS backed up the truck?

Hard to back up the truck when the truck is gonna idle for a few months waiting for the back load Platinum is favourable. But still I think wait for the big nasty and then send in the truck. There is a balancing point to consider. It is still situation normal for most. It is rapidly changing...

    Corona Virus........We were warned

All of this vitamin C material comes from one place - the Pauling Institute or whatever it is called. Ironically, the very people here that say mainstream doctors are in cahoots with Big Pharma in a conspiracy against the patient, these same people should know that Big Pharma itself is from what...

    Silver coins (Kookaburra v others)

It’s important to be wary of numismatics but sometimes they do well. At the higher end, when bought well, they can be very rewarding. Even at the lower end, sometimes it is a matter of timing. Right now for example, Kennedy halves at APMEX are a staggering USD $10 each, or $1800 for a bag of...

WTS - 2009 1kg Silver Kookaburra Coin (Auction)

That’s my thinking. It’s a good buy and hold. Not the best timing. Obviously poor form from the highest bidder. The only think I would have done differently is discretely approach the OP and see what could be done, rather than make it a dog and pony show.
