Why no massive inflation in the US yet?

My view is that the primary reason we are not seeing "massive" inflation in the US is because the world is on the edge of a depression. A major factor the bottom hasn't fallen out yet is because of the "massive" QE projects going on around the world. One can only imagine how bad things would be...

Massive Wealth Destruction - Huge recession looming?

Adelaide appears to cost over 300K for a studio apartment in the city and prices go up from there. That looks like a market due for a correction to me. I chose SA because that would be my first choice if I were to make the big move to AUS. Its my understanding that the AUS economy is fairly...

Massive Wealth Destruction - Huge recession looming?

The argument often seems to be that things are different "here". I am afraid I don't see the logic in that kind of statement however there is always a first time I suppose... From what I have read your average joe cannot afford to buy a house in VIC/NSW. The price per square meter is beyond...

Massive Wealth Destruction - Huge recession looming?

My source has the 6 year business cycle touching bottom at or around 8-12-2013 Anyone who spends some time studying cycles will tell you that there are an unknown number of cycles all at work influencing things on earth and each other. But a series of waves are all due to seek bottoms between...

MINING SILVER COSTS: Much Higher Than Most Realize

very interesting thread clearly there is a difference between paper and physical markets but there is no denying the physical cost to grind the stuff out of the ground. We may agree or disagree on the end cost to market however. I think we are going to see the less profitable producers...

    Has Silver Bottomed Out?

I am expecting another dip before a bounce back to 24 or so

    I HATE THIS SIDEWAYS MOVE

I believe that we can expect an approx 1 week of sideways trading for every 1% change in the price. With a 30% AG from the April correction that would put a silver bounce sometime in October or thereabouts. Ideally sooner :)

Will silver go "sub 26 $" in 2013?

I think we see 22 and possibly as low as 20 before all is said and done. Looking to buy more than usual amount in late June early July

How deflation is going to smash silver prices

I think there is a distinct possibility of a deflation, just as there is perhaps an equal possibility of inflation. In the case of inflation those who have stacked metals will have hedged correctly so I don't think it warrants any further comment. Deflation is another kettle of fish entirely...

    Silver Mining

Hello all, Firstly I want to wish everyone a happy and healthy new years. May you achieve your stacking goals in 2013. I wanted to discuss the subject of Silver Mining. Unlike gold, AG mining involves crushing up large volumes of rock formations. It is highly energy intensive and thus subject...

    1965-73 10 Franc, & 74-79 50 Franc coins in Thailand

I had a suspicion that "some" were legit and actually did the diligence to determine which franc coins were worth purchasing since the shop had a fixed price for all the coins. However I got sidetracked and didn't buy any of them for fear I wouldn't get a legit coin. C'est la guerre

    1965-73 10 Franc, & 74-79 50 Franc coins in Thailand

ok much thanks ! It looked kinda strange actually so I priced them then went back to check net prices. I think one or two of them might be legit but for example there was a 1806 dated coin that was fresh as a daisy :) I will take some snaps of them tomorrow and post them on this thread. My plan...

    1965-73 10 Franc, & 74-79 50 Franc coins in Thailand

Hi everyone, I am here in chang mai thailand near "silver street" and saw quite a few old French coins. Most of the Brit, Aus and US coins are gone, although I saw some 1964 Kennedy's and a few 1900s Morgans. I just did my diligence and discovered that the dated coins in the subject line have...

[Question] Why is Yen shooting up?

in a word repatriation I can tell you that the Zaibatsu want the yen at about 105 to the USD then again there is going to be a massive re-investment program and QE like there is no tomorrow after the quake/tsunami I was sure the yen would tank and it spiked... I reckon it will take about a...
