What did you buy today , of the non PM range

Bought myself a new camera. I have too much camera gear already, but it's too heavy to take everywhere I go and so I often rely on a phone camera, especially if I'm on the motorbike. However, if you're used to using decent gear, no phone camera is ever going to satisfy you unless it's an...

Why do the Irish only put 239 beans in their soup? Because apparently, one more bean would be too farty.

Counterfeit Perth Mint gold bars [gotta see pics]

Absolutely. Perhaps there are people who do that with every piece of gold and silver they buy, just to be sure :D Me? Like I said, I do what I can - buying from reputable dealers and, provided there are no downsides to the various security measures provided, I see no reason to avoid them...

Gold Queen's Beasts Lion - a thing of beauty.

i couldn't bring myself to pay the premium, even though they look fantastic. I was a reluctant buyer of the 2oz 'regular' silver version, because I don't like paying a premium, but I thought it was an acceptable risk given the (relatively) small risk. These are 'silly money' for me.

Counterfeit Perth Mint gold bars [gotta see pics]

So far, I have bought only from long-established high street dealers such as Ainslie Bullion. I am attempting to keep everything in as-bought condition and I have receipts. The only gold bars I have bought are Scottsdale Mint in Certicards with scannable bar codes and - apparently - embedded...

Brexit Wins- UK to Leave the EU

With the Left steadfastly refusing to accept democratic results that they don't like, this interview I think sums up their failure to understand that voters aren't stupid: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_WfwX68E6Ys

    Self defence in Australia (LDP)

I have an old compound bow (archery) in my garage, which I bought 2nd hand twenty years ago. I had done a little archery at school and enjoyed it, so when I saw this new-fangled bow in the window going for cheap, I thought I'd give it a go again. I bought a few arrows and set up a target at...
