    Just me, but I think if you try and sell small amounts on the forum, you'll build up a reputation as being reliable. I (personally) wouldn't sell to a refiner as they'll a) pay you way less than spot (they need to make a profit), and b) technically it's illegal to melt down Australian currency...

    brilliant round .85 to .95 ct diamond

    My mother had her mother's ring appraised in the 90s and was quoted $20,000. It's since been valued at $10k (2024), so even though both valuations were for insurance purposes, it gives you a general idea of how diamonds haven't proven to be a good investment of late.
