It looks like a sheet-stamped silver bar. I have a few on them in my collection, have not seen one like the bar in your picture.

Did BHAS produced any silver ingots in more marketable sizes such as 100 gram or 1 kilo? I know there is a 1 ounce bar from them, besides the 15 kg prize.

Don't overlook the fact that some seriously rare silver is sold on ebay. For every 3 people buying German silver, there is a serious collector, dealer, or silver bug buying or selling those items that you rarely ever encounter at a dealer"s shop or a coin show.

All bars should have serial numbers and date of manufacture. The cost wouldn't add 10 cents to the price.

I bought a $20 heat sealer from eBay and plan on placing my bullion in 4mil clear polyethylene bags and sealing them up. Most of the bars are in the original seal, I'm trying to protect the bar and the seal from tears and a little higher level of protection against dings. Thanks, great forum.

Are polyethylene bags also ok for silver storage?
