Going off topic here, but just for clarification:
Open source hasn't been proven any 'easier' to hack than proprietary code. Just because the codebase is open to the public does not mean that the code should have vulnerabilities which makes it easier to 'hack'. 'Hacking' is all about finding...
If it's an off the shelf router then no (99% - can't find a source that covers all). Routers won't log scanning requests from devices, but will probably have a hidden log somewhere of connected devices (which is useless in this situation). While it is possible to log all IPs that have ever...
I only keep bullion in my current spreadsheet (bars and coins). Any numi stuff I've ever had is that minimal that a even a large change in spot wouldn't affect the coin that much (because of the premium slapped on top). So I really only care about the bullions current price.
I'm working on an...
(terrible photo, not mine).
Picked it up for $35 inc. postage, only .6oz silver though (I think). I'm not a coin person at all, but with limited funds this week I thought I'd grabs something different.
Not sure how you got 1 in 2200 people, as 100/(5000/11000000) = 220000; any ideas?
I'd also try and take into account the amount of people who have access to the internet. There's roughly 12.2 million internet subscribers (though, there's libraries, family homes and whatnot; but we often have...
Finally got around to picking up three orders of PM 10oz bars today from Gold Stackers. Great display they have there at the moment, the last push I needed to add a Scottsdale 5oz hand poured with my next order.
Probably the last time I'll walk in there for a while though, the traffic to get...
The bars I'm looking at aren't from ebay, they're through a friend. Thanks for the suggestion, though they're ~$292, plus the 10% to $US, plus the postage would probably be near $700, which is just a bit cheaper than what i'm looking at.
What do other stackers think the generic 10oz poured bars are worth these days? The ones like the first picture in this post?
I've looked at ebay, there's one which has had 0 bids for ~$350, but there's buy it now versions for over $600, which i think is quite inflated. Previous threads say...
I like Perth Mint bars because personal experience has taught me they're really quite easy (in Australia) to offload. They also only come attached with a mid premium (not as high as PAMP, not as low as Scottsdale), which I'm happy with. Perth Mint is also a great name in Australia, so the newer...
I've become somewhat affectionate for PM 10ozers, and set a target to acquire. I've nearly reached that, and when I do, i'll probably split my purchase 70/30 with PM 10oz and GoldStackers low premium 10oz (maybe some 1oz from time to time).
I generally like my stack to be mostly one form, but...
It's an easy way to not waste money on useless things like an alcohol fuelled weekend. In my (very) early twenties, silver has seen me save more money than I could have with fiat (and I tried, hard).
Oh, and addiction to building a 1000oz stack fuels the fire every now and then.
Perth Mint doesn't take back orders through their website:

Perth Mint is trying to keep up with demand (as far as I can interpret) and that's why there's a month wait on items like 10oz bars from...
