bond market rally this week or next?

I'm not saying it will happen, but I'm not not saying it won't happen. A rallying bond market should be positive for the precious metals and negative for the share market. It also supports a friend of a friend's dogs theory that gold will be $1500 by the end of the year or maybe early next year.

Will CBA break major support level?

CBA is on the cusp of breaking below $70 on Monday. If it closes below this level, it will be the first close below $70 since about July 2013. Good times

    US inflation figures out tonight

10:30pm - A decent beat or miss to affect the precious metals. Japanese Yen is at the critical 100 level so a miss weakening the US dollar and strengthening of the Yen could have the making of an interesting day in the US markets and the Japanese markets tomorrow. I normally trade the EUR/USD...

Next two weeks pivotal for precious metals

27th July - Australian inflation figures. A 0.5% or less 2nd quarter inflation reading should see the RBA cut interest rates at the next meeting on 2nd August. 0.6% would be a neutral reading a could go either way and 0.7% or higher reading should see the RBA hold rates. This inflation reading...

    ABM Resources (ABU)

Another speccy I picked up in February for $0.049. Currently trading at $0.10 ABM Resources has 10 million acres in Australia. They are the number one mining lease holder in Australia. Their Old Pirate and Twin Bonanza properties hold extremely high grade surface gold. They have found about...

    Boss Resources (BOE)

Bought a good sized chunk of Boss Resources the other day at $0.04 It's flagship is the Honeymoon uranium project in South Australia. A lot of the gold miners I like I wouldn't consider to be undervalued anymore so am branching out into other resource sectors (not lithium). Uranium is the...

    Things to watch next week

Spanish general election results on Sunday. Buoyed by the Brexit success, it may impact on the result of Sunday's election pushing Mariano Rajoy's People Party out of power. This would have another negative impact on already fragile European markets on Monday. Even another hung parliament result...

    Brexit Play

Stay in: Long the GBP/USD and EUR/USD although I only see limited upside potential and buy call options on the FTSE 100 Get Out: Short the GBP/USD and EUR/USD and buy puts on the FTSE 100 X Factor: Even if Brexit wins, UK parliament needs to vote on it. Would only take about 30 tories to deny...

http://www.abc.net.au/news/2016-05-24/qld-government-could-raid-superannuation-fund/7440278?section=business If this gets the green light I can see it becoming a trend that will extend to other states and beyond just public sector numpties super funds.
