I get this semi confident feeling Silver is about to break loose

Hello everyone, it's been a long time since I added to my PM portfolio. So jumped back in today and converted some fiat over to allocated storage via Perth Mint. Have this funny feeling that silver is about to break loose. It's been shackled for so long now. Kinda nice for fellow Ag bugs that...

    Fake Pan American Bars

I was a bit suspicious of these bars when I was sorting the other day. They failed the diamagnetic test so I acid tested one of them & sure enough they're fakes. Goes to show the cheapest bars even when purchased from reputable sellers can often be plated copies. [/imgz]

Cancelling an eBay auction when the bids are low - Unethical?

I would describe myself as an opportunistic bidder who possesses a few legit tricks (only one 100% feedback account) up my sleeve to fool another bidder into thinking it's not worth competing. For all that, my wins would only be around 5-10% of my total bids. Conversely, on the seller side...

With the Silver Spot hovering around the bearish $30ozt mark one would hope suppliers to reflect the same. I get the feeling buyers have found the bottom around $40. Anyone know of a sub $40 supply in Australia?

BU - The last investment Panda Coin for Average Joe

I'm astounded by the massive increase in value of the Proof issue Pandas. Only a year ago I could pick up nineties series proofs for around the $2-400 mark. Now I see them regularly trading around the $8-900 region. Unfortunately my wages haven't increased by 100%. This means I now have to...

Grading Rare Bears & the COA?

Interested in members thoughts: You rarely (if ever?) see graded (Slabbed) proof Pandas with the original COA attached in the eBay listing. Often, you will see an original COA for sale separately. So there's my question. If you go to the trouble of grading your proof coin is it important to...
