just seen a news report about bitcoins. some dude reckons they are "a better store of value than gold or silver"... made me laugh. could this be a sign the bubbles about to burst?
did argentina end up with hyper inflation? if so thatd make sense... trick everyone into drawing out their cash and then start printing loads of it so that its not worth anything anymore while money in the bank gets to keep up with inflation because of interest rates (or is that wrong)
apparently back when the earth was still molten and whatnot a planet the size of mars smacked into it and the material that didnt fall back to earth created the moon. i wonder if theres gold and silver on the moon.
hmmm
how did everyone hold up this time around?
flood was alot bigger than the last one a few weeks ago. possibly the biggest one ive seen. water was almost in my parents front door. biggest flood in wauchope since 78 apparently. hope everybody from around where this weather affected is doing...
i used to home brew but got sick of cleaning the bottles.
have enough equipment to make about 100 litres in one batch. thinking of firing it back up again maybe. wouldnt mind buying myself a still though.
i was thinking the same kinda thing a while back, but i guess it depends on how they grade it overseas. they might be using microscopes or something to inspect the coins and whatnot. people might not agree with your gradings either. what if you grade a coin and some smartass sends one overseas...
got an idea for a few places. im on a few acres where i live, or i could put some down on my parents farm, though they dont really grow crops anymore, only beef cattle so the bees would be going to all the clovers and things i suppose.
in my quick googling this arvo it said something about native bees needing most of their honey to be able to survive through the winter time.
also im not sure if it was native bee honey or if it was just bees that only got their nectar and whatnot from native trees..... anyway it was real...
