I was there at "doors open" this morning, and besides myself, there were 5 or 6 buyers who went straight to the bullion room. I figure if I can afford to buy bullion now, I'll buy it now. If I can afford to buy bullion tomorrow, I'll buy bullion tomorrow as well. I just don't know how much...

Ive also been struggling to access the bullion pages of the PM site. The woman at the mint who served me this morning commented that they have been incredibly busy these past 48 hours. I suspect they may also be busy in days to come...

Given this morning's spot, Ive just come back from the mint, with some 10oz'ers for my stack. :) I don't know about online sales, but Perth Mint have them in stock atm for over-the-counter sales.

10oz bars selling on PM website for $264.40 - which has dropped from ca. $275 since opening price this morning. I think they do sell at live prices.

I think a trip to the mint on my lunchbreak is on the cards... O_O

Ok, Ill have to revise my earlier observation regarding condition, now I've held it in my hands. Earlier in the day, I was viewing it through a rather dirty capsule, locked inside a vitrine. The condition is not mint... its "good". Theres some tarnishing of the matte areas and light scratching...

Might have to give them a call and ask them to hold on to it... might be able to shoot back there in a bit.

Yes, well I hovered over it for a long while. It looked in excellent condition. Are the "YES" responses for any reason in particular? According to Perth Mint mintage material, 10,000 was the maximum mintage and they had declared sales of approx. 4,400.

Today I saw a 5oz Silver Rooster in a store at Spot. Should I have bought it? Im not a fan of the Lunars really, but 5oz at spot seems reasonable, no? They seem to fetch a good premium on evilbay. Identical to the one pictured below. Source: fleabay

Amen. If they think they're going to be selling rolls of 20 rounds with these designs to the international marketplace, I think they're in for a shock.
