    Massive Capital Wave Approaches Gold

Pretty basic question but if Gold is generally denominated in UD fiat ( which we convert) - will a decline in the AUD Vs USD send the AUD gold price north?

    Inflation and Geared Commercial Property

If the $AUD drops dramatically against $US fiat our stacks will be real healthy!

    Inflation and Geared Commercial Property

That Dateline story on the 64 million empty apartments in China was pretty conclusive. China is a planned economy capable of excesses far above a free market economy. Put this together with a gen y who are educated, have 24/7 world wide communication available and who are getting impatient at...

    Inflation and Geared Commercial Property

Great article Wageslave - thanks. That Rich Dad stuff can be dangerous alright too much debt could be poisonous if long-term deflation or depression set in at some stage in the future. Seems kind of sureal talking about that stuff at present - everything feels peachy in Oz right now but if...

    Inflation and Geared Commercial Property

Hi renno, No-one said Accountants have a mortgage on all the knowledge. I'm with wave - hard to tell how the economics will pan out! The deflation thing scares me, but I expect the deflation would be quite short-lived as the Reservists crank up the presses then inflation could go crazy -...

    Inflation and Geared Commercial Property

Even better if rates don't go up. The bogus CPI numbers will drive the rents up and if rates are steady then the yield will just get better. Big problem would be deflation - nobody has real money to pay for buildings so values fall through the floor. At the moment you can get 10% yield on...

Thanks Turk - how come they are at such a discount to spot? I checked the coin and bullion dealers and they are selling at spot or even higher - is this ebay thing the way to go?

    Pre decimals and 1966 50c

What is the general opinion on stacking these? Looking on ebay seems you can get silver at a significant discount to spot. Has anyone ever had these refined and made into bars? or is it best just to leave as is and use as fractional trades when silver goes sky high?

    Gold nuggets on ebay

Looks like these's a fair chance they are genuine - but as you are chancing your arm a bit should you discount to spot - also to cover for impurities?

    Gold nuggets on ebay

Hi, I've seen nuggets advertised on ebay - hard to guage validity and probably easy to get ripped off. Anyone bought these? What discount to spot should be applied?
