St.George Bank ATM Withdrawal limit now = $1000

Ha ha ha... it never ceases to amaze me how ignorant some people are. Every fool knows that a $1 has no gold in it, and never has! Its only the $2 which contains a few grains of gold. :)

St.George Bank ATM Withdrawal limit now = $1000

"If you don't hold it, you don't own it." It's quite ironic isn't it? People love to say (regarding precious metals), "If you don't hold it, you don't own it." And yet, if you were to ask them what it was they used to purchase their precious metals, was it cattle? was it oil? was it grain...

http://www.caseyresearch.com/cdd/deflation-dont-count-it Deflation? Don't Count On It Interview with Jim Puplava, by Jeff Clark Deflationists and inflationists have been arguing for years. Each side has data to back up its claims, and the public doesn't see a clear winner. One of those data...

Time to cut your losses & switch to gold ?

Goldpelican, I think most of us know the theory, but have probably never done it. It sounds like you've done it more than once. Have you tracked the performance of your portfolio when doing the GSR swap? ie: what the portfolio would have been worth if you had NOT swapped, and what it was worth...

Slow response from the Perth Mint Depository Service

seems a fair enough question, especially with another long thread on SS about a nightmare scenario being experienced by other SS, involving sizeable sums of money & silver, and haphazard communication

Slow response from the Perth Mint Depository Service

Not sure what the email issue is, but after setting up my PMDS, I've only ever spoken to them by phone. So far as I'm aware, you cannot buy via email. I don't see why calling is a pain, as some years ago, I used to regularly call people on the other side of the planet and in-between on a regular...

    Kingsgate (KCN)

That's quite a big hit. However, when companies like KCN & MML move, they move quickly, so once gold companies start going up, it shouldn't take long to recover. But *what* gold company is not currently down? Loads of them have been crucified.

Expect Precious Metals Shortages During The Next Crisis!

Apparently, some knowledgeable people say that the price of silver has been manipulated since the time of ancient Egypt. Other authorities say that the price suppression regime was initially established by Cain; ie: the son of Adam. :P

    Gold/silver allocations ??

This is probably an appropriate time to remind everyone about security. I suspect that the personal messages on SS are not encrypted, and I'd would not be surprised if at some future date, professional hackers attempted to acquire the SS database. Which raises the question, do you have ANY...

    Gold/silver allocations ??

People don't like talking about how much they are holding, as its effectively asking how much is in your bank account. A better approach is to ask what percentage of one's financial investments one is holding in precious metals; eg. Gerald Celente is 100% gold; Max Keiser is 100% gold & silver...
