They didn't. From reading the description, it seems like the guy who bought this from SBSS (either during the Chris Duane/Mulligan Mint partnership or afterwards) has sent the medallion off to another mint to have it guided. Unless he's just coloured it in with gold texta haha

Please be aware this is not orginal SBSS. The creator and copyright owner of the SBSS name, designs, website, etc (Chris Duane) recently severed ties with The Mulligan Mint (Rob Gray) who was producing the medallions for him. Since the split, Mulligan Mint have not given Chris his website back...

Yeah from a design perspective, its not great. But I guess its hard to make a bunch of US states with straight lines look fancy.

The one the guy is selling on Feebay is the SBSS prototype that was never fully realised. If SBSS and Mulligan Mint had not have severed ties and had gone into full production with it, the quality would hopefully have been better. The Mulligan Mint have now partnered with James Wesley Rawles...
