    Dedicated POS machine

Two events worth thinking about that could cause ETH to outperform BTC. 1. Somewhere like China bans bitcoin mining because of the environmental footprint 2. Ethereum switches from POW to POS Perfect storm for the flippening.

    Atocha commemorative cob

I think it was David Emslie. He's the guy that did the bar pour on the original season of Gold Rush Alaska. Got to hold one of the Gold Rush bars but he said there was a ridiculously high royalty on the logo. David refined the silver for the cobs from recovered low-grade shipwreck cobs that...

China looking to ban mining. Best POS crypto?

I think this is a genuine threat to POW coins - current estimate are 38Twh of electrical consumption annually. https://digiconomist.net/bitcoin-energy-consumption There's 150 countries in the world that use less power annually.

Binance a new Chinese exchang / coin.

As I explained via private message, posting of affiliate referral links by members has never been permitted. As you did not remove them after being notified and responding, I did. Just like a distributed ledger, this forum has costs and income to offset them. Rather than receiving mined coins...

Binance a new Chinese exchang / coin.

Been very happy with Binance as a mobile app - their desktop experience is very laggy. https://www.binance.com/?ref=13311931 is the forum's referral link.

    55x

I've been looking at past years performance of this strategy, compared to just buying BTC, or buying just the top 20 coins that are under $1 each. Even with the horror years of 2014/15 that went backwards, you would have been ahead for any combination of doing this for three years in a row since...

World Money Fair Berlin 2018 in februari

Either day is about as busy as the other, but there will be more "suits" on the Friday as it is still a business day and a lot of industry activity is taking place. Saturdays will have more general public visitors instead of business visitors. Sunday is much quieter, and a lot of dealers pack up...

Just went to a local crypto group meeting (kinda like a Silver Stackers meeting but just crypto). One of the presentations was by a technical trader who analysed what $100 in each of the top 20 coins by market cap on 1st Jan 2017 would have been worth after 12 months. $2000 down and held...

    Bitcoin fees Mempool chart

A transfer I initiated on 17th Dec just arrived on 31st Dec. Probably because I chose a fee of about $1 to transfer $300 - not sure if the fee savings was worth the opportunity cost of not having access to the funds for 2 weeks for playing with alts.

    Binance Exchange

Binance have also said on Reddit that they're looking at implementing a solution for partial coins below minimum tradable quantities ("dust") - e.g. allowing them to be swept for BNB.

    Binance Exchange

Yes - Binance is an alt trading site. If you have the option, deposit an alternative to BTC (like ETH or LTC) to skip the current high BTC fees.

    Tubes in monster boxes

Generally government mints do not put anything in. ASEs, Maples and Kangaroos do not. Private mints are hit & miss and can vary shipment to shipment.

I've paid for pizza and beer with bitcoin - but it was only 0.1117 BTC at the time :) No regretsies. Early adopter.
