    I buy "blobs" as some call them and also numismatic stuff. Have a nice NGC graded Washington Quarter set and working on NGC graded Barber Quarter set. Collect what interests you and don't worry about what others think or say. It's your money...

    If you really want to invest and expect a gain, stick to high quality rare NGC or PCGS certified coins. 1909-S VDB, 1914-D, 1955 double die Lincoln cents have been steadily increasing in price for decades. Rare coins really are a good investment. Buys some books and subscribe to Coin World...

    I sent a few coins express to Australia $54 US but believe the most inexpensive rate was $17 US with a delivery time of 10-20 days. If you aren't in a big hurry, not too bad for shipping

    I've been using ebay since 1999 and encountered only two trouble transactions that were rectified. For common stuff I buy from local dealer or jmbullion but for rare and hard to find items, ebay can't be beat.

    ASE are highly collectible as are many moderns. Demand is strong so they command a high price. It doesn't matter if the design stays the same as people collect by date.
