Just for interest sake, are the young stackers here because houses are too expensive?

I'd have a guess that as the spot price rose they would increase the $ margin but reduce the % margin. Small ticket items in my shop can bring an 80-90% GP, the bigger ticket items may only bring a 10% GP but more $ in profit.

Over $45'000 debt for ever man woman and child. A huge burden on the % that pay tax. Last time I checked the average income was under $50k.

I like it but yes GP would have to do a fair bit and would everyone be happy disclosing the size of their stack? I like the spot price guess, I can guess low, if I win I won't be so upset about my silver being worth less, if Im way out my silver is worth more. It's a win win again!

That's a good point but it works both ways. If it's an irrelevant amount the dealer could wear it to keep his customers happy. It reminds of the banks raising interest rates the day the reserve moves them up but they take weeks to pass on the cuts.

so is the spot price, funny how that happens.

Good reading here, one thing I want to ask is how hard people here are backing PM's? Do you borrow to buy, spend spare cash or allocate a percentage of your wealth and if so what percentage? I think this will speak volumes about the confidence in this asset class coming from informed investors.
