    Silver Bar Rankings

I buy mine at BM or KJC. KJC also sells them in monsterboxes, 50 units for 500 ounces.

    Silver Bar Rankings

It all depends on what you value in your bars. Everyone has their requirements, personally I want a serial number on any 10oz bar or greater of Silver. So that rules out Perth Mint small bars for me, although that would be the most widely accepted bar in the country. Honestly, the whole 'PAMP...

    Time to start stacking

Well, USD$163 = AUD$214.97 as I type this. I can buy 10oz into my FirstGold account for $217.40 right now. Honestly, it's a good deal if you are in the US as it is free postage included. However I can walk into FirstGold and pick my ABC Kilobars up as I am Sydney based.

Annual Bonus came in...What to buy?

If I had "1000 ounces of silver" to spend, then I would be looking at a Monsterboxes. 15x 1KG PAMPs, 50x 10oz RCM bars....With the current 80:1 GSR right now that is all I would be doing. You also have the option of Silver Eagles. My plan would be to swap half into gold once GSR hits 40:1, and...

2016 1 oz. Silver Kangaroo Coins

You can only treat them as rounds now. It's a sad and unfortunate situation, but if you buy them in bulk they are priced very competitively. Until one of the mints decides that they are going to ditch the chemical polish process and go back to mechanical polish, it will continue to happen.

ABC Eurekas - are they milking up?

Good news, thanks for the update. And yes, the premium with these is manufacturing only and quite a bit cheaper than the 2016 Kangas at lower volumes. Ramp up to 250oz and the cost differential narrows considerably however. But the same buyback price as everything else. So if you pay a...

ABC Eurekas - are they milking up?

Hi all; Just went to the ABC site as I do on a periodic basis - in fact I do try to check out most dealers & manufacturers/mints within AU say on a monthly timetable just to see what's happening. I have seen the Eureka rounds and they have been mentioned on here, but the question on my mind...

Setting a bit of fiat aside?

At least 1 week's worth of wages post tax should be sitting close but not too close. Enough to get you through a couple of weeks of issues in the markets if you need it and you spend carefully. Also, keep a bit of 'scrap' silver close to hand for quick flipping when required - banged up rounds...

To date - 1 oz 2016 Ag Kangaroo

That's nice, but you quoted my mini-mosterbox post and implied a $5+ premium at that quantity. It has shown to be false. And 'up to 24' means a broken mint tube, so you will pay more regardless.

To date - 1 oz 2016 Ag Kangaroo

Huh? I see AUD$3.43 over spot in Sydney which I can go and pick up (KJC). That's about USD$2.46 premium per ounce. Bullion Money is a few cents per ounce higher. Apmex are charging about the same over spot for the '16 Roo mini-monster over there. Any of the other coins (Philharmonics...

Another round of smackdown is ahead for Gold and Silver

Honestly, I am looking for at least somewhat of a retracement of this run to buy more. I did buy before the jump, and even with margins & premiums, I am completely in the green now across my entire metal holdings.
