    Perth Mint mintage policy

The Perth Mint could just clear this whole thing up (well part of it) by stating that they promise to from now on disclose the mintage of the different packaging they will release for each coin.

    Perth Mint mintage policy

While I certainly do not want anyones feelings to get hurt over this whole thing, and I agree it is a nice gesture to let us know they will not be minting any more 1986-2002 coins and they are working on the rest, it just may not sit well with people who have invested alot of money in these and...

    Perth Mint mintage policy

Quote "As of today, production is officially closed-off for all 1986 to 2002-dated numismatic coins that have not sold their maximum mintage." I suppose we should be Thankful for your generosity (not you personally Ron) in letting us know in 2012 that you will not be minting any more 1986 coins...

What to do with a "Toned" S2 Dragon

I would not worry too much about toning it just happens for different reasons but it is far preferable to scratches, dings or white spots, who knows in 20 years most of these not kept in sealed rolls will probably show signs of toning.

    Perth Mint mintage policy

I do applaud this Ron Currie for trying , he must have a tough job, but this just sounds like a bunch of BS , to little too late, collectors are already screwed by the Perth mint shenanigans and he has been told to try to save face , maybe they will be able to salvage their reputation but I...

    Gainesvillecoins.com reviews?

I have dealt with Gainsville coins for years and when they were smaller they were much better service. They are reliable as far as shipping your coins that you order but as far as any coins with high premiums it is really hit or miss with them they may sell you a $100 /oz numi coin which seems...

NGC now recognize mirrored/frosted 2003 variety gold Pandas

I am not a panda pro, nor a pro at anything for that matter, but I have been scouring for the mirrored version since I heard of them. One thing I think you could be sure of is that if someone were to come up with a large qty of the mirror version and dump them on the market the prices would at...

Silver bullion coin - milk spots

This is an interesting thread and subject. I am not totally convinced that all "milk spots" are caused by borax or even the same thing. The reason is if you look at different coins with the spots they can be different in appearance , some seem more of a bluish white some greyish white some just...
