I don't think they'd even feel it if they continue pumping out stuff like the Superman coins, which obviously only appeals to fans of the comics/movies. Perhaps we'll start to see more releases like that in the future?

You guys always miss the point on stuff like this. It's for Dr Who collectors, not bullion stackers. Of-course it's going to have a massive premium. I think the design and presentation on it is fantastic, and will definitely resonate with fans of the show. $700 may be a stretch for most though...

Cotton gloves are the way to go if you must handle them. I buy alot of coins online, but have never received a proof coin with fingerprints... just wondering if anyone else has? and did you mention it to the seller/ecommerce store? I'd hope that a replacement or refund would be easily secured.
