What are you planning to do with it? stack it? It has a bunch of challenging properties which make it hard to work with, it's not just like steel but harder...
So my thinking was that the network is most healthy when there are a lot of small entities all supplying hashing capacity to it.
a small number of big entities supplying the hashing capacity makes the network less healthy.
I've been watching the ratio climb for the last two days, LTC is becoming more and more profitable.
Any thoughts on where/if you can actually get an ASIC miner at the moment?
Been interesting to take a 3 week break from this and come back to see that while the BTC price has stabalised the profitability for me has gone from $5 per a day to -.03 cents today.
My BTC pool which had been stable at ~3GH/s for a month has doubled in the past 3 weeks to 6GH/s
ASIC miners...
So, that GSR is looking mighty good, is anyone actually interested in swapping away their S for G though?
I'm tempted to offer up some trades but I'm not sure anyone would take them, or if I would feel bad afterward? =)
Normally you set up cgminer to run the cards up to 75 degrees then it increases the fan speed to keep them at that point then if the fan can't do it it will reduce the clock on the cards.
what is your launch string?
Given the relative strength of our currency at the moment I was thinking an Australian cent could be too large a sum for some items / services..

I think the price is unlikely to go above the threshold at which is it useful and unlikely to go below the cost of mining.
for bitcoin to be globally useful the price for the smallest fraction of a bitcoin 0.00000001 would have to be like maybe 1/10 -> 1/1000 of an australian cent.
Maybe, I just read his car buying guide which seemed very reasonable...
I just thought anyone here could probably benefit from one or another of his articles.. it does seem like he is being a bit optimistic with his predictions but the idea of focusing on happyness and not stuff is a good one.
