    Kook's are now $24.50

I will be there just after CNY. Maybe some sales since most people will have spent all their money in advance of CNY? Will have cash to convert for sure.

    Kook's are now $24.50

Thanks for that. I will be in Singapore on business anyway, coin shopping is just a side trip. The Bullion Star website let's you pick various currencies to show pricing in, and the non Perth Mint coins look to be quite a bit cheaper than Australia, other than the Krugerrand that you pointed...

    2019 Wedge Tailed Eagle

I can't get my head around an eagle coin being Australian. That will probably put me off buying any of them.

    Coin shopping - 2018 Maples - Impressed

After my last posting bagging out the 2019 kangaroos, I thought I would put up a positive post. I recently received a shipment from Ainslie in the mail and it included some 2018 Maples. Having read about their new process to reduce or eliminate milk spots that came out with the 2018 coin I...

    Blue Trading

This is going to end badly for your nephew. 16 to 30% per month is impossible to sustain.

    Kook's are now $24.50

I was looking at the Merlion and thinking I would get some. I have travelled to Singapore quite a bit, so apart from just the ounces, that coin has a novelty appeal to me. Currently out of stock, hopefully they get more before I arrive.

Coin shopping - 2019 Kangaroo - not impressed

The more I read about the kangaroos the less I like them. Apparently I like pretty coins. :) I bought some 2011 maples and there is no milk spotting on them at all. They are in great condition. The kooks are all sitting here looking pretty in their plastic cases, but I keep picking up and...

Coin shopping - 2019 Kangaroo - not impressed

I went coin shopping in Brisbane recently and I am seriously unimpressed with the 2019 kangaroo. The design is not great and it is really hard to read. Holding it in my hand it does nothing for me. Unlike the maples that I cannot seem to put down :) I took a picture of it to post here...

    Kook's are now $24.50

Thanks for that. Definitely some differences between them. I'll go to whichever one is cheapest for what I want when I am in town.

    Kook's are now $24.50

Some good prices there at Bullion Star compared to retail in Australia. I will be in Singapore soon, might have to drop by and pick up some items. Is Bullion Star the best place in Singapore to buy silver coins?

    Kook's are now $24.50

I picked up some 2018 and 2019 kookaburras at Ainslie in Brisbane today and they charged me $27 each. Edit: they also charged me $27 each for Maples, Austrian Philharmonic, and the 1 oz Ainslie bars. I expected much more variety in pricing based on looking at their website.

    Noobie, Investing In Shares

Historically shares have outperformed all other asset classes. As you said you are just starting out, I would suggest finding the lowest cost / fees possible index fund and start there. It is really hard when starting out to get enough companies in your portfolio to provide the diversification...
