    just back to the original question there... in the case of purchasing from a person rather than a business, it is possible to simply withdraw the cash from your super bank account, pay the person, get a receipt (with name and address - no abn though) and then store said purchase appropriately...

    I think it all depends on what Uni you are with and also what the agreement is. I know that my wife is stuck.. and that is it. the only good thing is that they keep getting these crazy pay rises..well.. now that I think about them.. they are normal pay rises.. it is just that I get sh$t ones! haha

    Agreed 1000% Then with UniSuper the unions agreed as part of the enterprise bargaining agreement to forfeit the right to choose a super fund.. so they workers at the unis involved are stuck.. which really sucks. Then raises the question about unions and their association with the government...

    They are 999. Cost was about 285. So probably a little expensive for what they are - 160g of silver. But the demon type guys look freaking very cool in real life.. I am yet to open mine up but when I do I will take a some photos and post.

    Thanks for the tip there - It seems HQ for Japan mint is in Osaka but they do have a Mint shop in Tokyo... so I will head there tomorrow. And now that I check the map I must have actually walked past it on the way to the other coin shop!!!! argghh.! I did see some of the Japan Mint medallions...
