There's a post on the eurocollections facebook page saying they'll be announcing the animal on Thursday - which could mean today or tomorrow I guess...:)

These were due to be minted by the Helvetic Mint in Switzerland (they clearly don't have the same quality as Perth Mint products) but I've just heard that due to a delay with the client the coins are now delayed indefinitely and outlets are cancelling orders :(

Seems fair enough to me. Not sure what the big deal is if someone wants to only post links from certain countries here. In plenty of cases the US distributors don't supply certain coins and the only place to get them is through Europe. That being said I kinda like this coin, I'll check to see...

My advice is, if you're buying for investment go bullion. If you're buying to collect them buy what appeals to you, and to hell with anyone elses opinion on that :)

It's actually from the Mint of Poland, not NZ Mint. It just lists the coin as being legal tender in NZ due to to it being a Niue coin, which is a stretch of course. There are much nicer looking "innovative" coins out there. I'm not a fan of this one
