    Technical Analysis ...

For Gold and Silver there are other fundamentals like industrial supply and demand, costs of production, forecasts of supply from future mining expansion or contraction. monetary inflation, etc FYI I have invested in gold and silver and made a profit without considering the technical/price...

    Technical Analysis ...

Who said that fundamental analysts rely on media information? That is a fallacious assumption. A good fundamental analyst relies mostly on primary information such as company annual reports, competitor company annual reports, talking to management, customers, employees and suppliers, using or...

    Credit Corp (CCP)

I think the shares are still undervalued at $10.45 despite the recent run-up. I think over the next few years the company will continue its strong earnings momentum.

    Credit Corp (CCP)

Yesterday's AGM showed good progress and E.P.S. guidance was revised upwards from 86-91 cents to 91-95 cents. My forecast is they will earn around 95-96 cents for the year. If they earn 95-96 cents per share this would represent year on year growth of 15% in earnings per share.

I bought some more shares at $8.66 this week :-)

    Credit Corp (CCP)

Barring a depressionary economic collapse in Australia and the U.S. I forecast that over the next ten years Credit Corp will outperform the All Ordinaries accumulation index and will produce a double digit TSR (total shareholder return). For those that are unfamiliar TSR means change in share...

    Credit Corp (CCP)

I topped up my holdings at $9.40 just this week :-) Donald Mclay who is chairman of the company is also chairman of Torress Industries (a private investment fund). Torress Industries increased its stake in Credit Corp by 50,000 shares recently at a price somewhere between $9.50 and $10 per...

    Running a Building Business

Just wanted some advice from people on the forum. My brother has been working for himself as a licensed builder for a few years. He is great at building stuff and does very high quality work and has quickly developed a reputation for excellence but isn't the best at running a business (chasing...

Would u lend someone on silver stackers money?

I would be happy to lend to people here short term if they put up gold and silver as collateral. Meet up with the person face to face and exchange cash for collateral. Of course the price of gold and silver fluctuates so its not a perfect solution but it is better than an unbacked loan.

Not to be taken as investment advice

Jon, I highly recommend beginners stick to companies that are currently making a profit (and positive operating cash flow) and have strong balance sheets. This way even if you are wrong about the shares at least the company won't go bankrupt and you won't lose all your money. Also if your...

    Credit Corp (CCP)

If it dips under $8 per share I'll be adding to my position big time. Figures crossed that it keeps going down.

Do you have shopping list for XMAS

Silver Sanchez cyclical stocks need to be valued on through the cycle profitability I agree. However commodity and related stocks (including agricultural commodity related companies) typically earn a mediocre through the cycle return on equity. So for Tandou and Graincorp even if return on...

    Sports Betting Arbitrage

Has anyone here ever arbitraged online sports betting exchanges? I mean in terms of placing bets on the same event on different exchanges at the same time to take advantage of discrepancies in odds offered to make a risk free profit?

Do you have shopping list for XMAS

I had a quick look at Graincorp's latest preliminary annual report. Its a mediocre business with a fairly average return on equity. Also the report stated the net tangible assets for the company is $5.62 per share which is the maximum I would pay for the shares. The only reason people are buying...

Do you have shopping list for XMAS

Credit Corp is far superior to Collection House. Better management, stronger balance sheet (i.e. less debt) and nearly double the return on equity. Plus Credit Corp has more long-term growth initiatives underway. I hold Credit Corp but not collection house.
