2012 panda bullion are pricey because they were released when spot price is over the top (over $1,600/oz).

my Zombucks (product of Provident Metals) are not perfect; they spot easily and they tend to have scratches here and there. I treat them as bullion so these flaws are acceptable to me; but if I were to get a kilo proof silver panda it better be a perfect copy.

they don't deserve your business. Send the defective coins back to Provident and take your business elsewhere. As a coin collector myself I demand nothing less than perfect if I am buying from a large dealer like PM/APMEX.

definitely not koala, you can skip those ugly coins. kooks: long ongoing series, to-date 25 coins have been released. lunar: shorter series only 12-coins for the whole series, to-date 8 coins have been released and the current Lunar series II will end in 2019.

buy a sealed tube, sell a sealed tube. ignore all odds in getting milk spots, toning or whatever stuff that will reduce resale value. this is the exact reason why some stackers buy kooks/koala/lunars in mint rolls. Your risk is only the first and last coin if you buy and sell in rolls!

at this time of the year I would rather bag a 2014 1oz Chinese Panda, seeing that probably 2014 is the last year Panda bullion come in ounces...
