    MyCryptoWallet

Make sure you actually hold your keys for your major holdings. It's fine to use a centralised exchange to buy and sell, but don't store the majority of your stash there. Wallets like blockchain.info, Mycellium, Jaxx etc. have support for BIP39, which is basically a list of 12 or 24 words you...

    Ethos

What's the catch? Where's the innovation that allows free transfers of any crypto? Looks like it is centralised in certain aspects so there would be counterparty risks, ala Tether. This just from my 30 second skim of the whitepaper. Happy for more info from people in the know, but not interested...

    Monitoring the Crypto Bubble

While servicing a machine in a pub today, my wife overheard a bar lady talking with the publican about her crypto holdings. She later came and asked me for tips of what will be the next big one. I am caught trying to work out whether this is a sign of more widespread adoption of crypto (ala...

    Coinspot

Supply and demand, I think. There are more Aussies buying crypto at the moment than selling, so our prices are higher. Great if you are selling. Korea has a lot of buying at the moment and their prices are even crazier. If you are looking to buy in significant volumes, the price difference...

    Do you participate in ICO's?

I have in the past, but I see it as a very crowded space right now full of scams and lofty valuations. I don't like relying on greater fool theory, so I am happy to sit out a lot of them and just hold what I have or buy post-launch based on prospects of the product. When I started getting ads...

    Cardano

An academically verified proof-of-stake chain. Problem being solved is energy wastage of proof-of-work. At least that where I'm up to so far in my understanding.

Call the Top for BTC 2017?

I believe there is talk of development of side chains to be able to do "shapeshifting" on-chain with no counterparty risk. I think the developer of litecoin was talking about this. This would then allow multiple currencies to compete organically and smooth out transactions. From a merchant...

Call the Top for BTC 2017?

Here is an interesting comparison of blockchains, including how much activity they are experiencing and how close to capacity they are, and their activity to market cap ratio: http://blocktivity.info/ BTC and ETH are both over 100 % utilised. STEEM has the highest activity of any blockchain...

Call the Top for BTC 2017?

Until everyone switches over to bitcoin cash and fees go up again. BCH has 8 times the capacity of BTC, but what is needed is more like 1000 times capacity. Or we accept the fact that BTC is now a reserve currency and store of value, rather than for monetary use.

Call the Top for BTC 2017?

When I first heard about bitcoin, you could send transactions with no fee, or with a fraction of a cent fee if you really wanted to make sure of confirmation. The idea of being able to send tiny amounts of value like 20 cents, half way around the world for less than a cent was mind-blowing to me...

Call the Top for BTC 2017?

I know I am going to regret saying this, but I reckon we have seen the top for the year. I call Cryptokitties as the sign of peak irrationality. When you are a crypto-millionaire who has made insane gains, paying $100,000 for a virtual cat doesn't seem as insane. Bitcoin has $20 transaction...

Call the Top for BTC 2017?

I'm pretty sure bitMEX has been around for a while, so it's probably just CMC picking it up now. The difference between it and CME is that bitMEX is bitcoin settled and CME is cash settled. Plus CME has more established cred with the big end of town.

    Everything red

No, the pizza guy would not be devo. He is a legend of the bitcoin world. If he, and anyone else, never spent a single bitcoin, they would not be worth 20 grand today. He proved that they have value to purchase things in the real world. No doubt, he would not have blown his life bitcoin savings...

Call the Top for BTC 2017?

And this is why I never even tried to call the top for BTC. It has a habit of making fools of predictions.

    Crypto Kitties

I took a bite. I'm breeding one as we speak. Anyone want to buy a young Cryptokitty? I will sell it for Dogecoin. PM me for details.

Call the Top for BTC 2017?

If it weren't for the tax liability headache it would create, I would be very tempted right now to set up some more exchange accounts and send some large international wires to arbitrage that difference.

    Crypto Kitties

I know I shouldn't, but I'm soooo tempted. I think the troubles this is causing ethereum is bullish for other chains that can handle larger loads, like bitshares, Steem, and EOS when it comes.

    Clean Seas Seafood (CSS)

Blast from the past. I remember buying this for 25 cents back in 2008. Back when I was punting on share purchase plans.

    Cannabis Stocks - Watchlist

CAN's CR is huge at $60 mill. It eclipses just about all the other raises. The question is whether to participate in the SPP? I bought at 60 cents soon after listing, sold half for $1.20, so I'm free-carried. Will see how the share price trades after resuming and will decide whether to jump back...
