Yep. I'm all for people buying and collecting whatever they like, but people simply don't think these things through. A major strength of gold is as a compact and dense store of major value. I wouldn't go below 1oz gold coins or bars... and if you can't afford that, you should be buying silver...

USA dollars will surely have some inflation with this new $15 minimum wage movement from Amazon.com and the public pressure to expand it to $15/hr minimum nationwide. That always just inflates the wages all the way up the ladder of workers... which then inflates cost of goods and services...
