    kooks vs koalas vs lunars

As above without a doubt imo Lunar then kook then koala. I'm sure there are some koalas lovers out there who will say that they are good investment but I haven't looked at them for ages. There was an earlier discussion about this from a few years ago. Not sure if it would still be around.

How the silver boom shall occur.

I liked the house poo theory better. More realistic and as far as my dogs are concerned, horse poo will always be in demand. They love the stuff. Welcome Newby. I see you have been doing a bit of reading of the propaganda.

    Bye Bye 5 cent pieces

I still use them. Does that mean that those such as me who try to post with cash now have to round to the nearest 10 cents? So I lose another 4 cents. :)

    China hungry. Antarctica stuffed.

Time for gardens in the yard to change to vegetables and home grown produce? If you do and live in an inner city area you might also have extensive lead pollution in your soils. Be aware and either get your soils tested or use raised garden beds. If you don't want creepy Chinese noodles there...

The situation is worse than 2007

That is okay - will give me time to restock once my first priority is out of the way (building home).

The daily Reckoning seems pretty adamant

I don't own metal and can't afford it until after that date so if true then I'll miss out. I don't believe that they can pick it anyway

cool pic; how much ore requires processing

I think the pic is mis labeled. Looking at the piddly wires that block of a sample not the 860kg. But you get the idea of the work that goes into getting this precious metal.

    Is anyone investing in art?

I looked at it a while ago. Wanted an artist who was old, well known and likely to die in the relative near future. Decided on Rolf Harris - now look at what he's gone and done!

2015-W American Liberty $100 High Relief .9999 Gold Coin

At least the design has a female looking face unlike many of the other coins that have given a decidedly manly look to the head... I'm looking at you Libertad and AGE

    $350 Gold :(

Given that I am pretty much out of metals at the moment I think its best that I keep my op pinions to myself. I'd definitely be using it as a stacking opportunity though if it did eventuate. I clearly remember in circa 2000/2001 when gold was advertised on tv as being $250ish US. If only I had...
