*Yawn* Yeah it's going down, how much? when? I have been hearing how much it's going to fall and when and how etc etc for a long long time. It never falls by much and generally bounces back. I think it'll take longer to fall than most expect.

So the general feeling I get here is people do use exchanges, although when they are holding bitcoins they transfer it to a desktop wallet. Correct? My main worry is moving my bitcoins out of the exchange into my cold storage wallet. Have heard so many stories of things going wrong.

Thanks for the reply, this is originally what I was going to do but was thinking starting small until I get a better hold at trading. I have heard lots of smaller offline coin wallets are hard to trust(Forgot the exact term, but like bitcoincore), the offline storage ones, can carry viruses...

Have you ever tried to withdraw funds from these exchanges? Was there any problems?

I brought some silver back after the price crashed and the Aussie dollar dropped, a double whammy, although I didn't put all my eggs in one basket and now have some shiny coins and bars to play with when I feel down. :)

In same position as you, electronics may fetch more money than the house I currently keep a small portion of silver in. The fact is people think stackers have a lot to steal and the risk of provicating a break in isn't worth the lack of security.
