    Back the truck up?

I just purchased a few APMEX 1oz Silver Lunar Horse bars. My spare cash is better spent buying up things like silver vs. Cigars and expensive booze. Who am I kidding...! I'm going to still buy the cigars. Warren Buffet has something to say about buying assets when people are freaking. Most...

Good place to buy in the US?

I am in love with APMEX/Ebay at the moment. Free shipping and no minimum orders, good way to sample a lot of different PM products. You pay a bit more of a premium but the free shipping totally makes up for it.

    Semi-Numis vs bullion ?

I prefer silver that has the potential to gain in value beyond the underlying spot price. That's why Lunars, Pandas and the more attractive rounds and bars have my attention. I've been dabbling in silver and watching the prices on Ebay for the last two years. The premiums have been holding up...

Desirability: 1/2 oz Lunar silver bars vs. the 1/2 oz Rounds

The reason I ask the question is I've looked around on ebay and APMEX. It seems like the 1/2 oz silver Lunar coins and rounds go quickly and their value as a collectable increases fairly quickly. (Quickly meaning a 1 or 2 years) APMEX Example: Site 2012 1/2 oz Silver Canadian $10 - Year of the...

Desirability: 1/2 oz Lunar silver bars vs. the 1/2 oz Rounds

Thanks for the education. I'm still wet behind the ears as you can tell. I did not realize that the PM Lunars had face value. This makes me like the horse I purchased even more.

    Almost sub-21 $ silver!

You have not met my wife and kids. :-) They can bury me with my silver if they don't want it. I'll spend it on booze and women in the afterlife or use it to play poker with the angles.

    Almost sub-21 $ silver!

If silver goes into the teens I will start stacking silver even faster. The US economy is not on stable footing at all. Anything can happen over the next decade. We almost saw the US credit rating go down the toilet just a couple weeks ago. The nut jobs who caused that mess are still in...

    Nice, thanks for the response.

Italian Gov Accuses Apple of Tax Fraud, Raids Local HQ

Nice! I agree, I'm tired of watching these corporations not paying their fair share of taxes. In the states corporations have been given the legal status of personhood. If that's the case, they need to pay their taxes just like the rest of us. Don't even get me going on my thoughts...

Desirability: 1/2 oz Lunar silver bars vs. the 1/2 oz Rounds

I really like the 1/2 oz lunars for some reason and I'm thinking about grabbing some APMEX year of the 2013 snake bars and the 2014 horse bars. BTW - I just purchased my first 1/2 oz (SII) PM horse and it's a fantastic round. Also, have an APMEX 1/2 oz snake coming to me in a day or two.;)

can anyone tell me what this coin is worth

It's most likely going to be worth spot price. It sounds like the coin is in bad shape.
