    2020 Collapse

Builders are stopping building. On the other hand insurers are stopping insuring. Does that mean house prices rise or fall? DJIA trading bots are clearly pricing in mega profits on the back of commodities. I reckon they might soon learn about supply and demand.

Rotation into hard assets has begun?

Yeah the country that brought us covid12, Saudis, continues to make a killing from covid19. Kind of think the anti China mob and Wuhan wet markets were red herrings.

    1860 SOV grade opinion

I would say Drake sterling photography is very honest. Coins look better in the hand.

    1860 SOV grade opinion

Just from what I've seen I would guess graders are only shown examples of year and not type. In fairness they are pretty consistent grading StG and Shields. Type I & II though...

Rotation into hard assets has begun?

I would have said rotation to hard assets began 6-9 months ago. It was risk off from currencies. Real estate has well and truly bolted. I'm not very bullish on gold/silver though until there is some sign of wage inflation leading to consumer inflation.

    Dogecoin

Might be useful in future but at the moment defi is the literal definition of a pyramid scheme. What do you think happens when the music stops? PS I've got more value in eth today than all metals but firmly believe that most of its value will be captured by rentseeking equity in the longer term.

    Dogecoin

I'm quite happy to see ETH near $4000 but I mostly agree. Ethereum is effectively already centralized though Consensus/Joe lubin and plan to be even more so by PoS. Most projects on Ethereum don't need a token to secure them. Ethereum is competing with far more efficient AWS and Azure for its...

    Dogecoin

Catholics resisting this new tech called a futures market. Probably right. Bitcoin. Maybe Ethereum but it might be too vulnerable to other enterprise alternatives because of a centralized weak link called Consensus. Nothing much really innovative at the moment but entirely possible an original...

    Dogecoin

Some are in 5th bubble. When does it stop being a bubble? With doge maybe there's more going on. It's excellent for things like amateur mining, trading alt coins and generally medium of exchange. I kind of look at it differently. Doge is making other crypto look comparitively cheap especially...

Strike shouldn't matter so much. BUt certainly most AU55 and 58 type coins are better condition.

    PCGS Agents in Australia

All depends on the coin and where it's being sold. For example Melbourne shield sovs are better in NGC for British buyers. Early Sydney sovereigns are better in PCGS for Australian buyers.

Gold shop rejects masks and vaccines

Most politicians/health care/aged care/business management with clout had 2 pfizer shots by april's end. My problem with vax is why the plebs are getting astra which is statisitcally just a bit better than homeopathy.

    PCGS Agents in Australia

Not really. PCGS agents will tell you no one buys NGC. NGC agents will tell you no one buys PCGS. Both are very good at grading US coins but anything else, including Australian coins, grades are often random numbers and the slab's true value is in authenticity of the coin and conserviing it long...
