I wonder if you went to a coin shop that buys back silver of the would have held your bar until Monday for a 200 dollar loan? They would have known the silvers worth and it could have been a no lose situation for them.
To me the seller did their job but should give you all money he was given for insurance. If USPS recognizes their employee was at fault they should be the ones responsible for giving you your money back. JMO.
Jmbullion had ASE just last week for 2.39 over spot. Any quantity and free shipping. They do that deal quite often but I don't think they ship outside US. Can't get kooks near that price but I'll still get a few for the collection.
Ah ok then. I just call it proof because it's the non bullion version in the mint packaging with COA. Knew the finish was different, didn't realize the difference between specimen and proof.
I only have the Great Smoky Mountains proof. Being from Tennessee and living about an hour away I thought it was a must but I'll be in Denver when the Dunes one is released so I'll probably try to grab that one too. They do look really good in your hands.
I ordered one of these. I'll try it out. The main concern with wipes is tiny scratches made visable when you use a magnifying glass. I'm not sure which is considered worse.
