Hey guys what do you think of the new zombucks design. Let me know if you think its worth buying or flipping in the secondary market. I made a video showing the new concept art on Provident metals website. https://youtu.be/OqcXY_TnRkY

    Welcome to the forum.

I really like this one. I'll be getting some to continue my collection.

You never know with the secondary market though, especially with later coins in a series when everyone has jumped onboard. I wouldn't plan on getting rich from flipping Zombucks.

Its still only a mockup, but hopefully the production coin will look just as good.

Why do they date them ahead of time.

    Thanks

Thanks I've been stacking for about two years now but I just saw this forum and thought it would be interesting. I usually get a couple this current design is my favorite the Starving Liberty, but those Walkers are still selling on Ebay for like 70 bucks. The other ones only seem to have appreciated to like the mid to upper 20 range. My next favorite the Zombuff is at like 28 dollars right now. I think after the series is done they might loose a lot of their demand and the prices will go down, but you never know it could be the complete opposite. In my opinion if there's going to be another walker repeat it is going to be the current design.

I believe they started at 2017 because that's when the zombie apocalypse has been scheduled by the illuminati.

Yes I also believe that is when the zombie apocalypse is scheduled to take place so they post dated them for our convenience because they won't be able to mint them during the zombie outbreak lol.

The design is great. However, I wonder if the average stacker is far more aware and interested in a walker coin than a trade dollar.

In my zombuck collection, I keep a real coin next to a silver and copper zombuck. I'll have to look to see if I even have a trade dollar (I'm pretty sure I don't). This might limit it's appeal.

I don't get them. At the prices they go for I can get two Napoleon I coins from 1800-1812 with numismatic interest and more silver.

The zombie meme is fun but in five or ten years the premium on these will be worthless if it runs out of steam and doomerism takes a back seat.

I'd only buy them at spot and that would just be cos I like zombies.

If you get them from Provident, they don't have much of a premium. While it's anybody's guess, lot's of kids will like the Zombucks, including those too young to care about coins right now. I am not buying to flip or sell, but if I were, I would probably would take a risk on this series long term.

Each to their own! I can't understand the copper rounds at all but they clearly have become modern collectables.

The copper rounds are just a bit of cheap fun for a couple of dollars. They complement the silver very nicely and you can give them to kids to play with.

Ah I can see that Pete - just surprised they have become a collectable. I find the zombie meme very interesting since its onset. Look at it as an expression of Jungs collective subconscious. As you probably know there are entire and vast internet zombie apocalypse ecosystems built around stocking paramilitary gear. There is probably as much money moving on camo rucksacks and weird things to go in them as there is on silver. Who knows maybe they will do a beanie baby and get a high price tag.

All things have their time in the sun. Zombie apocalypse, roller disco with camo and no skates..

An expression of the western born millennials angst at the fact that having to work for a living is the end of the world?

Funny the 70s recession was worse that what we have now but the collectives response was disco.

Zombies and disco are both fun in incredibly different ways but as with disco....

Still there should be a surplus of camo rucksacks and glock 19s that will last generations.
