Would you accept these coins?

    If scratches occur across the flats/field of the coins only and are not in the detail ie: Head or Maple leaf. Then the blanks have been presented that way, if the scratches occur across the face and the Maple leaf as your example then it has occurred after the coin has been pressed. The liberty gouges I would have initially thought would have been another coin falling on it with an edge, this is normally called teeth marks as most of these have a reeded edge and put what looks like little teeth marks in. However that sun ray closest to Liberty is mangled not sure how that has happened but definitely post production.

    Overall I would not be too worried unless you bought 500 of them :( I am quite sure each and everyone one of us has had a purchase which left us a little flat, but learn from it and move on and as the others have said just use them for play Silver and put on your Pirate hat :)
