Well after seeing Tony Abbott this morning on ABC1 and after Rudd screwing up with his apparent coalition 10Billion dollar expendisure i'm pretty confident that I will vote Liberal.... Abbott wants to remove the carbon tax altogether, implement major road building in Melbourne, reduce excess public servant jobs, and implement a plan to stop the boats. As far as I can tell the Oz economy will be much better off within a few weeks/months if Libs get in?

Im voting Lib, not because I believe what Abott says, only on the fact that at least they will do what they say properly. Not like Labor, who have all these great aspirations but overblow and under deliver the policy namely, school halls, the insulation scheme, mining tax royalties, payroll debacle and so on and so forth.

The Liberals are a cohesive, mature party. Labor is not really a party, it is a group of factions clawing for control of available turf. That is enough for me.

That's hilarious, after Howard gutted the party.... Libs are exactly in this position, Howard removed anyone who dissented with him and left behind a sick party unable to think for its self without their glorious leader. Their losses at the last two elections had little to do with Kevin or Julia being good candidates and everything to do with the fact that they weren't a real party, just a group of factions clawing for control of available turf.

Sure the libs have had a couple of years to pick themselves up but they and labour are in very similar positions, the libs are just a bit father along the path to recovery.

I'm voting below the line, the only thing I haven't decided yet is if i put the libs or labour last.

Choosing which turd stinks least again. As yet unsure but I would vote in Anthony Albanese based on his selections for Rage last night. Would love to have had a Rudd or Abbott playlist

The coalition promised to reduce the size & impact of "Government" & in the same breath introducing another tax on our most sucessful businesses.. the Paid Parental Scheme.

The NSW & QLD state liberal/nat. parties both promised to cut back green & red tape. They have both failed to do so.

I don't see the Federal Coalition delivering with this track record.

Govt legislation is a hidden tax that easily adds 20% cost to doing business in this country.

Two (2) heads of the same beast.

One thing is almost certain, and that is regardless of whoever wins, workers will pay more tax and with less services.
