I was trading earlier. I took off an open order and my btc did not show back into my account till 30 minutes later. Open order didn't complete and btc gone. I skipped a beat for a moment there!
Happened to me a couple of times also. It always comes back but pisses me off because I've missed the trade. Been at the worst possible times too
I 'sold' 10LTC on Sunday only to see the trade not happen - the LTC stayed in my account... so I put it thru again... same thing happened - so I tried yet again... When I logged in today I found that my BTC balance had curiously increased - and my LTC balance was showing -6.12 LTC?!?!!? So to cut a long story short, I had to buy back 6.12LTC from my BTC balance (admittedly at a lower price before the tumble on Sat/Sun, so didn't work out that bad I guess) but I couldn't withdraw/transfer anything until I covered the LTC debit balance... bloody weird clunky site it is indeed...
Sounds like the they need to re write a lot of the code for the site. anomalies that just shouldn't happen. Possibly also they're site/ servers weren't expecting so many hits....
Quark's 1M chart looks impressive. Prior highs not yet reach, looks like it's taking off again. Will be interesting to see what happens when Keiser says his piece. Worth chucking a BTC or two into. Seems only a few days ago one BTC bought 75 LTC. Wishing I hadn't flipped them at the time :/
Quark apparently being added to a Chinese exchange this friday: http://forum.qrk.cc/thread/431/official-message-chinese-exchange-btc38 Cryptsy is currently and hopefully dealing with a secondary sizeable order of mine. Painful!!!. I'm taking a bit of a big risk with some of my BTCs.
The issues at Cryptsy sound nearly identical to when I tried to buy qrk on BTer recently. Confused the hell out of me.
At cryptsy, I ended up resorting to putting in an order price for Quarck a fraction above their official price at the time. Using their price did not work a couple of times. It is perhaps due to the size of my BTC trade.
Yeah it's been good in the past. Were you able to buy qrk there ok? I'm a little peeved now that I didn't stick at it. Wouldn't the fact that there are so few QRK markets cause issues if the market turned and everyone wanted to get out?
Damn - WTF is going on with Craptsy?!?!?! I can't see an accurate buy or sell price - one says buy 0.001, next line down 0.0003 - coinmktcap says US26c Anyone know what the correct range is - or is this all more part of the 'QRK' phenomenon lol!??
Just utilised BTer. The site layout I find OK thus far. So far it is a much quicker, smoother experience than Cryptsy. Had to keep modifying my trade upwards to get into the market. I have very little faith in Cryptsy's ability to handle an anticipated trade frenzy.
Problem with the exchanges is that it takes so long to push funds through the system when you want to take advantage of a quick buy. Coinjar can sometimes take a few days to acknowledge a deposit. Moreso than PMs, you really need to keep a pile of dry powder in fiat or BTC, sitting in the system.
