Hi fellow stackers and collectors. I like collecting / stacking ASE's, there's just something about them but I'm not quite sure what it is yet. I was into Canadian Maples for a while there but I got sick of milk spots, I really like the leaf design.. I recently got my hands on a couple of Philharmonics but I can't see what all the fuss is about. Do you guys have a preference, and is there any particular reason for this?
Hey Squiggles, Fell in love with the 1996 Kooks from first sight, my first purchase. Now have 57 Kooks of various years and ozs and there are more on their way
Whatever is closest to spot should be the answer! 1990 panda (Ag), 2008 kook, ASE/AGE, PM S1 (S2 Gold Mouse & Dragon) - all very hard to stack in volume (except ASE)
The 1966 round 50c is a beautiful coin, it was unique from the start. Also the 37/38 Australian Crowns because of their size & feel. A 1912 US $10 Warbonnet I got for my 18th, that's my fave coin! If the US changed image for ASE/AGE every year like the panda that would be like wow! I love the pandas but my fam used Saint Gaudens designs to get me interested. I'm amazed that the younger gens (my nephews) like PM Lunar the best & S2 at that..?!
