What would you spend $2000 on if you had less than 10oz of Silver?

Would you go for a 100oz bar? It's cheaper than buying 100 1oz bars/coins or even 10oz bars/coins. Let's pretend this was your only opportunity to ever be able to buy a 100oz bar. You could get 100oz bar to start your stack and then the rest of the year collect 1oz bars/coins... What would you do?

PS: Assuming the government gave you the $2000 in tax refund:D

    Wine, woman and song ideally.

But if you want to be frivolous, I'd buy as many 1966 50 cent pieces as possible.

I like your original idea. Sit on 100 oz and pray like crazy but collect bibs and bibs for enjoyment. Good luck.

100oz might be difficult to get rid of easily when that time comes, perhaps better getting kgs?

Today? as many ASEs as I could afford.

    Recognisable, negotiable, storable, valuable.

Having a zero trade history (currently) if you came to sell a 100oz bar I would be more suspicious that it wasn't real.
Buyers will want it sent first before handing over any $$. Compared to a bucket load of '66 50s or 1oz...

ASE's, 10 oz bars...... If it were me I'd buy an assortment. You may want to wait silver may go lower.
You may also want to state what part of the world your from. So folks won't suggest you buy Aussie coinage. :)

    Not even close.

    Assuming your in US.

I would go to Provident Metals and buy 16 5 oz Ft. McHenry or Mt. Rushmore ATBs or a mix of the 2.

The leftover can buy a few ASEs.

These pucks are not going down (as silver will in 2014). These will be the 2 from 2013 that will rise in value,

So its a win win. Silver at decent price per oz with the numismatic price kicker to boot.

Save this thread and thank me later this year.

Ok let's think of it this way:

If buy 80 ASE's at $20oz plus 3.99 prem. & Silver goes back to $40oz (whenever) Will this make me the most money compared to if I would bought 100 (1oz bars), 1oz gold, 10 10oz Silver bars. I mean what would make me the most money? What If I get 3kilos of Kookaburra's? Will that sell for more than 10ASE's?

Here's my inventory so far expect the oz has been change to reflect only 1oz per coin rather than the actual amount of oz I own. Everything was bought at a Win! In fact i'm still winning as you can see todays spot is higher than the spots then. I call it my treasure because i bury it beside the dog's dog house in a safe lol.
