You can bet the techniques of Edward Bernays, the father of corporate propaganda, of spin and of manipulation of public opinion, the guy who termed the phrase "engineering of consent" (and who engineered the campaign for water fluoridation), will be rolled out in comings months. Maybe it will be spun as a righteous fight against tyranny, maybe as a conspiracy against VW, or as an attack by a nebulous left wing group who want to destroy jobs of hardworking citizens. .
