its funny you say that fishball. I seem to remember a thread here about the numismatic value being ramped up on ainslee bars because they were so badly poured.
I was so bamboozled I stayed out of it.

Its like a club, where you get to be pals if you go along with the gang on nonsensical values.

If it was open discussion , to my mind, half of us would say premiums are ridiculous to be handed on second hand, and the other half would support the idea.

Yes, I have. if you're into silver and gold to make money short term, you would be far better off buying and selling lego. seriously.

My apologies for all the obsfucating, in my defence, it was already pretty obsfucated before I joined in!

Your last sentence was very interesting, you equate fiat currency with premiums. Can you imagine giving someone a $10 note and them telling you it was second hand and they would only give you $1 worth of groceries? It just doesn't work that way.

I cant fault your logic , you didnt use any.
And I still dont know what tessellate means but I love the word

Im glad you quoted me, I just read what I wrote and got a laugh.
Hotcross bun numismatics will be worth a bit when IM selling my wheat in the crash

Ok Jizlizard so fiat is good, and u can store it with utmost confidence , it isnt a game of musical chairs afterall, therefore my point about premiums having no intrinsic value is also mute.
    is that what you're suggesting?

Because if you're supporter of fiat currency, then you don't believe in the other 2 popular discussion topics

    Silver market manipiulated
    Traditional silver/gold ratio is 16 to 1

Which means you will be burned at the stake

This thread and its 9 pages is the result of silver spot price being in the doldrums for the past few weeks/months. Boredom. Frustrations.

If silver was $70/oz, and going up $1-2/week, no one would give a turtle about this thread. I suspect many people here would be too busy downing Jaegerbombs and doing salvia.

    You may continue.

Now who is obsfucating the thread, such as it is?

At least we both like the word tessellate the rest, you lost me, I know there was something about bread...

There are alot of minerals in the land called Australia.
    Who owns them?
The queen owns half and we own half
We doesnt mean the socalled government, it means us the actual people own them.

Ownership means just that and by law if someone wants to take what belongs to us they have to pay us.
    This is called royalties.
Im damn sure when overseas corporations come here and take our gold, coal, and everything else that the queen gets her share.
I;ve never seen a cheque in my letterbox though.
Who has my share of my property?
    Who has yours?

Its a theft on such a large scale, its mindboggling.
Australia is the Saudi Arabia of minerals and we are so stupid we don't care if theyre all stolen as long as the thieves give us a job.

Most of my minerals, I don't want. As for the gold,
I have mine, (some , not all ) I bought a metal detector, learnt to use it, and went and got my gold.( I'm going to look for the rest in June) yours is there too, you just have to go and get it. In fact everyones share is there, but you have to look for it. If you don't want to get yours, I'll sell you some of mine.

I own it. Australia isnt owned by some vague government or corporation somewhere.
Its owned by us and the queen.
If someone came into your house and started stealing your property, would you shrug it off and say its ok I'll go out and find some more?

Im not talking some vague hippy concept or notion I happen to have. This is the law. The same as abos get royalties on their natuve title land. Difference being they're smart enough to send a bill.

Dude - I like most of your posts. I'm lenient on the ones that I don't agree with. However "abos" isn't cool in my books even though it's an Aussie thing to shorten words. For UK based it's akin to calling Pakistanis "Paki's"

I didn't actually see any of your gold, but I did find a lot of your lead shot, aluminium ring pulls and tin bottle caps, do you want me to post them to you?
