Why do Australians stackers put up with premiums on second hand bullion bars and generic rounds?
The rest of the world doesnt.

    I'm on a mission.
A bold crusade to bring second hand bullion bars and round premiums in line with the rest of the world.
    It won't be easy.
But its just a matter of perseverance.
    Who is with me?

Ask anyone ive traded with mate.
    very minor premium.
    even bullion coins
Alot less mucking around if you're only interested in silver and don't care less about bloody lunar dragons or kookaburra series 1834

There seems to be no distinction made between bullion collecting and coin collecting with premium princess's
a coin or bullion which is it?

yes generic spot rounds, say 5 ounces a piece. or whatever fits in the cheapest australia post $1 post
And traded between us boring spot watchers.
Yippekiyas a scientist. I don't know what he does at work but theres probably a bunsen burner. He can whip these up in his lunch break

I wonder what honestcoins pays for nonnumismatic second hand coins and bullion bars in America.
As in what kind of premium over spot is usual?

1oz bars and 1oz rounds tend to have premiums between 50 cents and 1.50 over spot in the US.

The best you can find without a special sale going(and it has to be a super special sale usually with slow delivery) are 79 cents over spot for generic buffalo rounds or 89 cents over spot for generic dragon rounds. Both at gainesvillecoins. Both coins are 1oz. Actually right now gainesville has 175 or so generic (random) bars for 69 cents over spot.

They have a 2000 dollar minimum for bank wire.

yeh they're cool, but once you've paid postage plus the thieving customs charge it all adds up to more than you realise.

Its cheaper for me to get you to post these to me one at a time, than buy them from the premium princess's here.
You can even keep 50 cents for yourself

It's what I do when buying electronics that don't ship over here from the US...

Cheaper to ship it over there somewhere then here than to buy locally.

Although I'm not sure it'd be feasible for something like a 1oz round which would only have $1-2 difference in price (unlike electronics which differ by $000s)
