Hi Tacrezod coin dealers display case was a joke , this coin is in very good condition , to good to have been in circulation for fourteen years. I believe there is a chance someone robbed a coin collectors home , didn't realize the value of his/her loot and cashed it in. Now serial has scored an absolute cracker of a coin by noodling. Hope this explains. Again serial well done :)

Yes part time numis stackers. I've found dozens of the early fifty cent commemoratives in great condition that have probably been hoarded. The big question here serial is which bank?

Went through 700 $2 coins a friend was cashing in and found these "interesting" $2 coins. Pulled out the 2003 myself but the machine at the bank kept spitting out the two 1995 ones and on comparison I can see why. All three are a weird colour compared to regular $2 coins. The 2003 has a bad strike and rust. The two 1995s are slightly larger than the average $2 have very square edges and are quite worn.

What does everyone do with their funny money? Feel free to PM me.

1995 Waltzing Matilda with a C mint mark and a 2004 MOR with a big old RIM cud.

On a side note, what does everyone do with their coins? I've been trying to trade mine in the buy and sell forum but there's not a huge amount of interest.

Should I just dump them on Ebay?

I was aware of the 2003 fakes, The 'EL' of ELIZABETH is below the neck.

I would lose them ASAP as possessing them, even as part of a collection is apparently illegal, definitely don't try to spend them.
