Went to have lunch today at the local dumpling place. Saw two Coronation $2's in their tips jar. Asked If I could trade a $10 note and swap some coins out.
The lady was fine with that and opened her till. To my suprise, I saw a pile of them in there. I asked for the $10 to be changed for them instead.

I was amazed to see them in there. Totally Uncirculated condition, obviously straight out of a security bag or roll.

If I had more money I would have totally asked them for some more. I should have also asked if they had any unopened bags or rolls in their safe.

Is that rare? Reason I ask is I've found quite a few of them, my kids like collecting any 'different' coins. Come to think of it, they pretty much collect all my spare change.

1979 / 80 double bar 50c IMO not worth the effort http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Great-co...pt=AU_Coins2&hash=item1e72b0e88c#ht_797wt_916 1966 50's also have this variety

2000 incused 50c coin http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/2000-MIL...t=AU_Coins2&hash=item43cc321f2a#ht_501wt_1153 flag is incused instead of flat.

2004 large head 20c also known as pointed "A" http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Variety-...t=AU_Coins2&hash=item5b01687be3#ht_2377wt_997

2005 $1 mob of roos also not worth the effort http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/2005-Aus...=AU_Coins2&hash=item3ce174a7d1#ht_4261wt_1153
