Went to have lunch today at the local dumpling place. Saw two Coronation $2's in their tips jar. Asked If I could trade a $10 note and swap some coins out. The lady was fine with that and opened her till. To my suprise, I saw a pile of them in there. I asked for the $10 to be changed for them instead. I was amazed to see them in there. Totally Uncirculated condition, obviously straight out of a security bag or roll. [img=FluxBB bbcode test]https://farm4.staticflickr.com/3912/14539618405_bffec50c4f.jpg[/img] If I had more money I would have totally asked them for some more. I should have also asked if they had any unopened bags or rolls in their safe.
Is that rare? Reason I ask is I've found quite a few of them, my kids like collecting any 'different' coins. Come to think of it, they pretty much collect all my spare change.
