She will be greatly missed. Like others have said, she went out of her way to help people and her business ethic and patience was inspirational.

I had a number of trades here on SS with Maggie. She was always an absolute pleasure to deal with, always had kind words to say and like so many others here have said, she went out of her way to help people. She will be greatly missed and my heart goes out to Russ and her loved ones at this very difficult time. My deepest condolences from way up north in Tokyo.

I'm stunned and genuinely saddened. Maggie had a gift of combining manners, intelligence, wisdom and numerous other qualities rarely found today. She will be sorely missed.

The humorist Will Rogers was quoted as saying that he never met a man he didn't like. Maggie, the Australian Will Rogers. RIP

I am utterly shocked and saddened by this news. I still can't believe it even.

Maggie was so kind to me. She sent me many lovely things. She was obviously very creative. She listened to my out pourings about things that were bothering me that weren't even related to silver trading. Each time I have left the forum for a spell she was always one of the first to greet me when I returned. I cannot imagine Silver Stackers without her.

I'm so so sorry for her loved ones. She will be greatly missed by us all.

    Goodbye, dear friend. :(

That's a real shame, you never just traded with Maggie, you always had a chat to go along with it.

    Can't agree with that more.

Maggie always asked after my family first and then traded with me almost as an after thought.

Funny thing is I have many fond memories of her and her stories and I never even met her.

I can only pay her the biggest compliment I know, " she is pure class".

Excellent idea Chip ... should we arrange a massive wreath from the 2,000 + members?

Or something huge from us all to Maggie's survivors!

As stated earlier I will reach out to Russ in a few days and ask what the family's wishes are for anything of that nature.

Maggies never missed her 1000 trades it is 970 now..... I still owe her a couple more when I received her goods next week and another one sometime in the futures. Highest Records in the forum.

I guess we let her families to decide. The charity bits is another thing...
I am glad I did buy her coffee and cake... as she put smiles in my face.

When I saw the reply message from Maggie yesterday, I figured it was our usual banter of how slow it was in metal land, how this time of year is so very slow here in the USA, etc, etc.
Then I saw it was Russ giving me the terrible news about my sweet friend who I playfully called My General.

We began working together several years ago and our friendship just got better and stronger.
I always loved sending some kind of chocolate or cookie with her metal, she always did the same and made my kids very happy. My thoughts and prayers go out to Russ and their children & grandchildren. She made a big difference in my life and countless others here in the USA.

She was a member of bullionstacker.com as well, where I started a similar thread as this one.
We would all appreciate information when available for the wake, flowers, etc.
A link to any online newspaper listing would be appreciated as well.

    Rest in peace my general

Sincere condolences to Russ and the family. Maggie rest in peace. This site will never be the same again, it has lost its voice of reason and it's soul of kindness.

I have read this thread since the second page and have not posted because I do not know what to say, I still don't I think I am in shock. One thing I can say is she never had a bad word to say about anyone and I know she was very heavily family focused.
Thinking of you Maggie and your family.
