Same here I don't know what to say I'm shocked. Thank you Maggie for everything you have done . We will miss you deeply.
Maggie will be sorely missed, may she rest in peace My condolences go to Maggies family, she was a kind and generous soul, and loved by many.
Sincere condolences, Russ. Maggie told me umpteen times in our PM's how much she loved you and how much you meant to her. She adored you. I always wondered what the "C" meant on the bank account details but was never rude enough to ask. I thought it might have been "Carol" (my imagination). Let's know if I can help in any way.
Maggie was my very first trade here on SS & gave me my very first feedback... ...I will cherish it always. My heavy heart goes out to her family, she was one of a kind & will be very sadly missed. RIP
At some stage one day might we see a pic of our beautiful, and dreadfully sadly lost friend? An angel for my money. Just saying. Only with family permission, of course.
I'm completely unfamiliar with Australian customs for memorials, so just curious if there is a specific custom and where or what would be sent?
Maggie, My sincere condolences to your family... You were one of the best people I've met on my Ag journey. And I always enjoyed our small chats... You will be missed RIP
Wow this is unbelievable. Maggie sent me one of the first PMs I got. Always so quick to respond, and joyful as a matter of fact. May you rest in peace, Dearest.
I'll ask Russ in a couple of days, Cheryl may have had a favourite cause that it might be appropriate to send a donation to in her name. I'll find out first though.
She was the number 1 nicest person on SS and will be greatly missed. I trust she is on a silver cloud somewhere...
Very saddened by the news, my thoughts go out to all her family, friends, Russell and all of the silver community here and elsewhere.
So shocked and terribly sad to hear this news. Maggie you will be sadly missed by us fellow stackers. Deepest condolences to all the Family. Rest in peace Maggie.
This is my sweetheart. I really don't know where to begin. The outpouring of love and support for Maggie, that I have read on SS humbles me, and I thank you all from deep in my heart for your kind words. Maggie loved her world on SilverStackers. There are so many of you whom my wife spoke of in glowing terms, I cannot explain the depth of feeling she had for her friends here. Her views regarding the treatment of others were exemplary. I have always been amazed by my wife Cheryl, her ability to interact with others was second to none. You might have guessed that I found it easy to understand her popularity, but I was and am still enormously proud of her achievements worldwide. We have had a few adventures in retailing various things over the years, and Maggies people skills were always to the fore. She was one of those people who often held a customers arm or hand while she was talking to them, and she always wanted to help the underdog. I can't lay claim to any exclusivity, many people love her. Maggie was a pet name that her father called her. He was an utterly one eyed Collingwood supporter.poor man! He died in our home at the age of 92 several years ago. I loved both of them so much. Maggie and I have tried to instill the sort of values that we stand for in our children and grandchildren and I can tell you that our love for them, and their love for us is the greatest thing. The suddenness of Maggies departure has stunned myself and my family, there is so much left unsaid, so many unfulfilled moments that we wanted from life. We are utterly devastated. Once again I thank all of you for your love and support, it means more to me and my family than I could ever try to explain, I have cried gallons of tears reading your posts. You have touched our hearts. If you have any unfilled paid orders that you have placed with Maggie, please have faith that I will honour them, but I will just need a little time to adjust to this. Sincerely, Russ
