What a drop. TPT was going to be my first foray into the stock market... Lucky I wasn't able to figure out how to actually buy as it was about 28c at the time :|

I can imagine the rumours of it possibly hitting $8+ would have got people buying up heavy

    Yeah I'm hearing ya.
I'm still holding a small amount that I bought at 25c.

Figure it'll just be a long term hold now as I really don't want to realise the loss...

Give this area of the stock market a big miss if you're inexperienced. It's infested with adventurers and scrip salesmen. They demand big 6 figure pays, free options, which you pay for. They win whether the venture succeeds or not - and it almost always fails. I've lost money in about twenty of them - they all disintegrate in the long run. All your risk, their reward.

Did you not see this as a high risk punt?

Your choice of words leaves me in little doubt that you have lost a significant amount of money on this stock.
I have also experienced such losses on speculative stock.
I borrowed 10,000 on a gold stock before the gold price skyrocketed but the company went bust before the gains were made. Add this to the losses on the oil company I invested in which went bust before the oil price skyrocketed and we are talking a lot of money.
It was a difficult thing to discuss with my wife as she was against it from the beginning.
I think we should consider starting our own self help group....S.S.A.......spec stocks anonymous.
Our meetings would start with something like this.......Hi I'm tolly_67 and I bought ( whatever shitty stock it was )........

Of course! It was the way ann's were handled & like many, got caught up tn the hype over Morocco. The sp only helped those that oight in very early. All through drilling price nver returned to even pre-spud! I see this as very unusual & so did many others. Truth is. Many wanted out but sp dropped so dramatically, we would never save face so, awaited, trapped for the end results. HC will clue you in on all of this.....

I'm more than willing to admit I lost a bundle! Now, even graphite explorers are feeling the market pinch, evn with good results! Just a tpugh time unless your willing to look @ the mid-term @ least, which I am focusing on with graphite & gold juniors for now @ least

I'm not holding but the company has been in a trading halt since it came up a duster. It should come out of the TH by 17th September but it's already extended the halt a few times already.
