    Thanks Lunty

These Bars here have Photos identification.
They are as good as Finger prints.

Ya, the poured bars now remind me of actual finger prints. (All the best Lunty - let us hope things twist for the better)

I'd suggest to you that you make lists of everything that has a serial number and give them to your local bullion dealers and pawn shops, hopefully they could help you catch the thieves if they try to sell them.

Now if that scumbag tries it on at least we were all pre warned that they are stolen goods. I reckon everyone should save this thread for keeps till they are found. ;)

Hope all the sharp-eyed eBayers see this thread and let Lunty know if they see those serial numbered bars turn up in any listings.

Amazing that all of that could fit in such a small safe.

You must be the Tetris king.

Could a classic financial reward assist here?. More incentive to keep an eye out? Pros/cons? (just writing here without really thinking this through and putting the notion out there)

Problem is, if they were/are visiting this site, don't you think they would come back and read what people are saying. They will now know what not to do.

I was thinking the same.I can only assume Lunty has discussed the pros and cons of this with officers investigating the case.

Lunty, the photos are great, but it would probably help the pawn/coin shops if you put the sn for each bar beside its description. I am not a tech guy, but putting the item descriptions, sns and anything else into an excel spreadsheet would make things much easier for those keeping and eye out for the pms.

Also, I see some Lunar Mice gold coins in the photos, but not on the list. Are they in the mixed size lunar lot?

Good luck. May you get your pms and the thieves get everything coming to them and a little bit more.

So sorry to hear of this, gutted for you.
I'm sure you and the police are doing everything you can.

I wonder if any cctv from your area may have captured anything? So many people have cctv these days. Would be useful if a rego or even vehicle description was caught.

Another idea....just throwing it out there, I wonder if members might be willing to chip in and help Lunty hire a very good private detective. Just an idea....I just want you to get what's your back.

Good Luck, let me know if I can assist as above.

Once again Lunty im so so sorry for your loss,it makes me sick to think these scum bags are still out there, well for the moment, there days of freedom or breathing are surely numbered

We will all be watching out for the 99c auction's,even the pattern on the silver bars could almost work as ID or fingerprint of that bar,not numbered but he some good images you could use to match maybe??Yes we can hope a neighbour or someone in the street had a camera setup,we can only hope someone saw them,

But as for hiring a P.I well im sure the best boys in the business are on it,and have much more resource's and man power then any Private Dectective, most bank robberies these days dont net that much so im sure its high on the list,i would rather chuck Lunty a couple Oz's then waste on P.I,no doubt the Boys in Blue are throwing some of there best at this case, oh yeah that would be silver Oz's im not rich, but if we all chucked 1oz his way it may help sooth the sting a little bit?

If this a random attack they will likely try and sell it on the streets. If it's targeted they will already have an exit strategy that will likely be melting it and most likely taking off shore.

I truly hope it's a random event as the Police then may have some chance.

Hope they are on the job and not out there booking people with their windows down whilst parked?
