The key to watch is the dollar. Nearly brake down last night, but managed crawl back over 73 and that saved the silver shorts.
I still am expecting the dollar to test the all time low of 70.70 in the coming weeks before heading higher temporarily.

(Shhh dccpa! Of course they want to break it but we don't actually SAY it out load! Here, let me show you how it's done...)

    (LOUDLY)

Oh what a shame it is to see the USD languishing so! My My, whatever can be wrong! We must all take action to save the world's reserve currency. Especially China!

Default or Collapse would be unthinkable. It would have horrific consequences thoughout the the known world - and probably the orbiting space station too.

We will take all steps necessary to protect and maintain a strong dollar!

I'm not subscribed to it but when I refresh it pops up as having a "new" post and for some reason I check it and for some reason the stuff at the end of the thread is a waste of cognitive function.

IMO people now know John has sold his stuff have had a week to digest and comment on it and anything further should there be anything further should go on a new thread - If you havn't read/commented on the thread already you have a fair bit of reading to do - I will summerise it all in a thread soon for ease of use.

Something I have learnt in my old age is to step back and observe rather than look intensely at any one thing.

The price for buying paper slv is clearly manipulated.

By their own mouth it is at least 100 to one.

Buying Physical silver at $8, $20 or $49 is a bargain for anyone holding metal longterm.

Your grandparents didn't get wealthy overnight buying a couple of houses in the 60's.

Paper Slipstreamers from all walks of life (and all levels of gov) are going to have fun in the short term in both directions, however a ratio of 100 to one worthless paper to actual product should ring alarm bells to anyone.

    Just my 2 cents worth

nothing wrong with taking profits - I fully empathise with the sentiments expressed it in the vid we are talking about

no point riding a loss down to the bottom - investment is about corralling purchasing power

My biggest problem with interim selling is that you have to be right 3 times. If you sell at a profit, you have capital gains/income taxes. If you want long term gain tax treatment, you would have to use older silver purchases with a much lower tax basis. Then you have to rebuy at a price lower than your selling price - capital gains tax. Some people can do it and kudos to them. Most people just muck it up by setting the repurchase price too low and missing out on some of the returns. One of my investment/tax preparation clients kept selling my pm stock picks and trying to trade them. She not only had a lower return last year than my buy and hold clients, she also had a large income tax bill that the rest of us didn't have. I believe she understands now and will not trade as much. We shall see.

So you're able to buy on a dip but apparently it will be impossible for those of us who sold at the peak to get back in at a lower price.

I can buy whatever you can buy. The only difference is I'm buying it out of my profits.
